I enjoyed teaching in Raymond during PSII and I was excited to be a part of its great community again. I taught all subjects except for Physical Education and Music. I grew in the area of literacy instruction during my time there. I attended monthly literacy sessions and applied their ideas to my own lessons. I loved the community of Raymond and enjoyed the challenge of taking on more responsibility as a teacher.
Professional Semester I - Grade 4 - November - December, 2013
I learned a lot during my time at Galbraith, especially how to plan and time lessons. I was lucky to be able to teach a variety of subjects to Grade 4 students there including math, physical education, science, art, computers, and current events.
Education 2500 - Grade 1/2 - May - June, 2012
This was my first true experience of teaching in the classroom and I loved it! Although I only taught small groups and one full class lesson, I knew that teaching was for me after this experience. I loved the energy of this school and its students.
